Youth Program
Start Date: Tuesday, January 7
Priority registration: December 9 - 15
Open Registration: December 16 - January 2 or until full
Registration times: 4:00pm - 10:00pm weekdays, 9:00am - 7:00pm weekends

All players must register during this period or risk being put on a waiting list.
Brea Hockey Club’s main emphasis is our youth program.
We aim to develop skills and provide a fun
roller hockey experience for all players; whether they are rookies or seasoned veterans.
Age groups:

All age cutoffs are as of 1/1/2003.
Players of exceptional ability may be required to play up one division.
Beginners may play down one division upon approval.
Hockey director's determinations are made relative to other players in a given age group.
Cost: $155.00 1st child; $130.00 2nd child; $105.00 3rd child
Goalies are $25.00 and must register to ensure placement.
Jerseys: $40.00 for home and away jerseys with name and # on back.
Returning players must purchase jerseys during the registration period.
Format:
Teams are formed with a draft system with coaches selecting teams.
All abilities are welcomed.
10 games and 5 practices plus playoffs for all teams.

depending on the number of kids registered in each division.
Youth Evaluations and Draft Times are TBA.
High School Program
Start Date: Monday, January 6
Priority registration: December 9 - 15
Open Registration: December 16 until full
Registration times: 4:00pm - 10:00pm weekdays, 9:00am - 7:00pm weekends

Our High School program offers two levels of play in order to provide a competitive environment for teams of differing ability:
Junior Varsity
Varsity
Games will be played on Monday's at 6, 7, 8, and 9pm and/or Wednesday's at 7, 8 or 9pm.
In the fall season, games for Varsity division were on Mondays and the majority of JV games were on Wednesdays.
Cost: $1300 per team
Teams must pay a deposit of $650 during registration to be placed on the schedule.
The 2nd payment of $650 is due by the 2nd game.
Teams who cannot pay by the second game may be replaced by teams on a waiting list without refund.
Any special scheduling requests must be written on the roster when the 1st deposit is made to be considered.
Format:
10 games plus playoffs for eligible teams.
Teams are asked to have matching jerseys with a permanent number on the back.
We offer team specials on jerseys.
Inquire of management or in the pro shop.
Teams may place 15 players, including the goalie, on the roster.
A final roster is to be verified by the 4th game.
Substitutes must play at least 3 games to be eligible for playoffs.
Substitutes must meet the same requirements as regular team members (rostered, registered, equal playing ability).
Packets with comprehensive rules are available upon request.
Teams may have one goalie and one skater that do not attend their high school, but must be of school age.
Adult Program
Start Date: Sunday, January 5
Priority registration: December 9 - 15
Open Registration: December 16 until full
Registration times: 4:00pm - 10:00pm weekdays, 9:00am - 7:00pm weekends

All teams must register during this period or risk being put on a waiting list.
Our adult program offers several different levels of play in order to provide a
competitive environment for players of every ability.
Divisions:

Two levels of co-ed playing Sunday afternoons/early evenings. |

Beginner (no co-ed requirements) division plays Saturday early evenings. |
| BRONZE - |
Novice division plays Sunday evenings. |

Intermediate division plays Sunday mornings. |
| COPPER - |
High Intermediate division plays Sunday mornings/early afternoon. |
| SILVER - |
Advanced division plays Monday/Tuesday nights. |
If the number of teams exceeds available rink time on Sundays,
teams are required to play an occasional Saturday game.
Some teams may be asked to play up a division or risk losing certain players.
Cost: $1300 per team

Individual sign-ups are welcome.
Cost for individuals is $135.00
Individual goalies are $65.00
New teams will be formed if possible.
Individuals will be placed on existing teams as team captains request players.
Teams/players will be evaluated for parity in each division.

We offer team specials on jerseys.

The Brea Hockey Club league plays four seasons each year.
Registration for each season begins approximately one month prior to season start.
